We recognise that clients have a legitimate commercial need to maintain control of their legal spend and aim to provide cost-effective solutions to our clients' needs. We therefore offer a range of bases for the pricing of the legal services we provide, appropriate to the particular instruction and our assessment of the associated risks.

The pricing options include:

Traditional hourly rates - this is most appropriate for transactional and commercial litigation work whose duration and timescales are open-ended. We will always endeavour to provide sensible estimates at the outset based on the then known factors.

Task or stage-based billing - an alternative to the traditional hourly rates.

Conditional fee based billing - appropriate for litigation cases where prospects of ultimate success are judged good but the client does not want to invest substantial funding prior to judgment. In return we take an enhanced fee at a rate agreed with you (a success fee) if the case is won.  After-the-event insurance funding can also usually be arranged in such cases.
